Park City
Our hotel at Westgate Resort
The boys loved the hot tub on our back porch
Maddie and Nate in the pool.
We had a great vacation in Park City again this year. We got to do some fun activities, and the hotel had a great pool and game room which kept Maddie, Nate, Ethan and Harrison occupied. Most of Ethan's soccer team stayed at the same hotel, so there were lots of friends to hang out with! We ran into our old friends Ryan and Sidney, so we were able to spend some time with them. Lots of fun!
Last Adventure
Watching the monkeys
The Living Aquarium
We watched Dinosaurs 3D at the planetarium
Mia loved all the fish--she kept saying ooooh!
Discovery Gateway--the helicopter is a highlight for everyone!
Harrison's favorite part of Discovery Gateway
Climbing the rock wall at Discovery Gateway
We ended the summer with a bang with 3 days of exploring our own "backyard." On Thursday, we went to Discovery Gateway, the Clark Planetarium, lunch at the Lion House and finally the Living Aquarium. Friday, we spent the day at the Hogle Zoo, Thanksgiving Point Gardens and the Museum of Ancient Life. Saturday, we attended an RSL game at Rio Tinto Stadium. After all that, we were ready for school to start!

July 4th and 24th
We got to spend a lot of time with family in July, and I can't believe the month is almost over! We traveled to Idaho to spend the 4th of July weekend with my family in Bear Lake. Although it was a little overcast at first, it ended up being a beautiful day. The kids had a blast on the paddle boat and Scott took each of them out on the jet ski. Scott pretty much spent 4 hours on the jet ski and had a great time. The kids turned the paddle boat into a party boat with chips, cookies and soda--what could be better than that?
We spent the 24th of July with the Wests and Michaelsons at Heather and Adam's house, where the kids swam, played with cousins and made s'mores. It's always a great time at the West's house!
Next up: Park City for Ethan's soccer tournament!

Harry's Birthday
Harrison has probably been talking about his birthday for the last 6 months. He had to suffer through my birthday, then Nate's, Scott's, Mia's and Ethan's. He even refused to go to a friend's birthday party because he just couldn't take it anymore! Well, the big day finally arrived, and he was very excited. I made him his favorite breakfast (french toast) and he opened his presents. Then we went to Classic Skate where he scootered around, went in the Bounce Zone, played some games and had pizza for lunch. That evening, Summer and the kids came over to have some cousin time. Harrison was tired by the end of the day and fell asleep pretty easily. What a sweet boy he is--I just love him to pieces!
